On or after September 15, 2026, if you travel outside of the U.S., you will be given a fixed admission date on your I-94 when you return. This fixed admission date or also called Admit Until Date specifies how long you are authorized to remain in the U.S.
Pay very close attention to this I-94 expiration date. The date may not coincide with your form I-20 or DS-2019.
