Join us on October 14th as we explore the Castle Air Museum in Atwater. Castle air museum is situated on the former Castle Air Force Base, which is approximately 10 miles from UC Merced. The Air Museum is home to over 80 restored vintage military aircraft ranging from pre-world war II to present day fighters. On October 14th, they will be having an open cockpit event, where guests are able to sit in the pilot seats of many of the aircraft. There will also be food vendors and activities for children. We will meet at the entrance to the museum, near the ticket window, at 11am. We will have a sign and an OIA staff member will be wearing an OIA T-Shirt. Reminder: OIA will not cover the cost of attendance or transportation.
