Is the UC Merced Campus closed?
No, the UC Merced campus remains open and operational. As we all practice social distancing to help flatten the curve of COVID-19, the Spring semester instruction has been moved online. On March 16th, UC President Janet Napolitano issued an exectuive order to limit the exposure of members of our community to COVID-19 within our community, to care for those who have fallen ill or otherwise been exposed, and to assure the continued functioning of critical operations.
