The Office of International Affairs  is your guide to international resources at UC Merced.  Supporting the teaching, research and service missions of the University of California, we aim to inspire the university community by strengthening global understanding and by transcending borders.  

The International Students and Scholars Office (ISS) is located within the Office of International Affairs.  ISS welcomes all international students, scholars and their families. The office assists individual international students and academic staff by advising them concerning federal immigration and labor regulations, and by providing counseling on personal, academic and cultural matters.
